A former fishing village that has kept its intimacy this area boasts some of the finest beaches on the Algarve - on one side of the village - long orange-red sandstone beaches as far as the eye can see, on the other interesting coves, rockpools and the ever changing coastline to explore. All of this is just a few minutes walk from our apartment.

Along the beachfront there are some excellent restaurants renowned for their great seafood (you must experience the food from O Caixote and La Cigale) and through the rest of the village you will find restaurants and bars to cater for your every taste.
